Basically Brown is just blowing a nut over our team, not even joking. He even said we could have the best team in the country by the end of the year. Said bye week helped them heal and learn some more things. Osborne and him are friends, loves our fans and will miss the rivalry between NU and UT. Said there is no animosity between coaches and players about the move.

I agree. I am really afraid of the Texas game. I don't care what UCLA did, they will be very stout on run defense. If our players expect an easy win and underestimate we're in deep sh#t. I am nervous as all get-out for the TXass game, but the players will be foaming at the mouth. I think they'll take care of business. I think they'll have to. I just don't know what to think. They will be ready, they will be playing for pride, and they have a very good defense, easily the best we have seen and probably will see (OU included). If we can run all over them then we truly deserve our top 10 status. I'm just really afraid it'll be like last year's game - little to no rushing game, little to no passing game. The one thing that encourages me is our defense vs. their offense. I do not see how they will score unless we turn it over and play sloppy. We need someone with a level head to explain reasonably why we'll win. That'll make me feel better. This is why I think we win. Defense is a given. How will we score points? I think they will key in on Taylor so much, it will open up running lanes for Rex/Roy. I also think play action will be used a bunch in this game. That play at KSU was perfect. Taylor under threw Kyler a little, but if a guy is that wide open it does not matter. When Roy/Rex start to do their thing, UT defense has to make adjustments to stop those two. This will open up Taylor. People seem to forget all the weapons we have on offense. Its not just Snuffy. We have McNeill, Kinnie, Niles, Roy, Rex, and Taylor. And that mixed with a physical O-line with a lot of depth, it means we will create running lanes. I also think we will see at least two trick plays. I think they have been saving these plays for the tough teams. We did not use any last year bc our offense was not good and the coaches did not want to take any chances. This year I think is a diff. story with the offense and coaches not holding anything back. I hope Im right...

The BCS sucks and these rankings prove it. I know they are just mock, but they said it is pretty accurate. How is the number 1 team in the nation number 5 in the BCS!? That is pretty much BS. And when NU came on the board at number 7, Robert was like, wow that is too low.

Their QB is obviously talented but he has terrible decision making. Every play is a rollercoaster ride. Well that bodes well for us, but for the sake of this game and knocking the SEC off their high horse, we need him to make excellent decisions.

Depends on how they look if they lose. I think if the game stays like it is now, Bama will drop to 7 or 8. If they game is close, 4 or 5. Michigan 23 or 24.

That was one of the things that annoyed me most about Callahan. I understand getting junior college players, but at QB it sounds like a terrible idea. Especially with a complicated offense. We had 6 QB in 8 years if I'm counting right. Callahan wasn't around for 8 years During the callahan era we only had 4 starters Daily,Keller,Taylor,Ganz Ya, that's his point. He wants a QB that will start more than one year. Cally was here for four years and every year he had a new QB it seemed like and he recruited a lot of JUCOs for immediate playing time. I think Taylor had two years and he was a JUCO. Dailey had one. Keller got injured and Ganz took over the last couple games in Cally's last year. But now Martinez has potential to start four years now. This is the reason I believe Lee is 3rd string bc he is a senior and Bo is looking towards the future.
