  1. I just emailed "MORE SUH STUFF". That's all.
  2. You two neighbors? LMAO!!!!! Great catch Where do you live Frazier? 120th and Dodge area? Do you live in my closet?
  3. Offensively, I'm a bit concerned at WR. I mean yeah we got Paul and Kinnie, but who else is going to step up? We have a nice looking prospect in Enunwa, but what guy is going to be a solid and consistent third option this year? Gilly? Bell? Who is going to be the threat on the short routes and in the slot?
  4. Good Thread. I am 48.4 miles from the stadium. The furthest person will probably be someone from Hawaii. I know we have at least one person on HB from there if I remember correctly...
  5. Best of luck to you, it's seems like you've done a great job exploring your options. I am also a geography major. What type of emphasis are you going to have? GIS Systems, climatology, etc..?
  6. I never understood celebrations like that. Like other people have said, just act like you do it every play. It is 100 times more awesome and classy that way. Remember Barry Sanders? He just handed the ball to the ref after every touchdown he got, even though he seemed to defy physics every play. But yeah, that was a ridiculously cool hit.
  7. Actually the best part about coming in to Memorial from the north side neighborhood is watching people trip on the weird curbs that are on the bridge. Someone face-plants about every 5 minutes it seems like. Maybe they are looking TOO MUCH at the stadium...
  8. Yeah I just got the same message...
  9. I grew up with an N64, and it's clearly wayyy better than the Playstation. No loading times and much better games available. I know those controllers were rediculously weird, but I mean come on, remember Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart?
  10. The Wii itself is so outclassed by the 360 and PS3 it's not even funny, their marketing just prays on older parents who don't know what good gaming is.
  11. I remember those days. It was either Keystone, High Life or whatever was on sale. Then came Beer 30. It was $9 for a 30 pack. Smelled like a gym sock and had a strange grapey afterbirth. Do malt liquors count as "good beer?" Just picked up a Dirty Thirty of 'Stones tonight... I'm pretty convinced it's at least 20% urine.
  12. Yeah I'm really pulling for Brooks and O'Hanlon. Hopefully all these extra scouts and coaches will make a difference for these guys.
  13. In order to get more realistic play, like Suh actually being able to get sacks, you need to adjust the game sliders. They help balance out the AI in the game and make it more realistic. Here is the set that I use, and I have gotten much better results (but they arn't perfect). As for Florida being a A+'s against our A's, it's probably because they have won more very recently, while for NEB it's been a while since we went to a BCS game.
  14. Oh duh, I remember that now. I need to start getting some more sleep, I think I'm losing my mind...
  15. Being a poor college student who is not 21 yet, I'm still usually stuck drinking keystones. However, like others have said, I love to indulge in Leinenkugels when I can. Bow down to sunset wheat!
  16. I have an identical schedule, and I tend to have a major crash similar to yours by 10 in the morning. I have even fallen asleep while driving, so it's pretty severe. I would agree with what previous posters have said, and more sleep is probably the most important aspect (duh). I like to do a really hard workout 2 hours before I go to bed, and it seems to allow me to have a deeper sleep.
  17. This might be a little off topic, but didn't we have a recruit from Alaska a few years ago? I remember it stood out to me as odd that an Alaska player even got noticed by us. I might be wrong though.
  18. But I actually think that Ndamukong has more upside than people think. In college, all he had to do to get to the QB was bull rush, because he was so much stronger than college o-lines. The shortest distance between to points is a straight line, so all he would do is throw the guy out of the way and get to the QB in the most efficient way. He didn't need all the fancy moves like McCoy did to rush the passer. I think in the NFL, against stronger linemen, Suh will develop a nice assortment of moves and improve his pass rush game even more, since he can't just toss double teams out of the way like usual.
  19. I can't understand guys like this that get a chance to go to a good college for free, but don't want to work hard. All he has to do is play football. They even get all the extra help they might need like tutoring to make sure they can get through school. I would KILL to have an opportunity like that. Instead, I'm working almost full-time while going to school to pay for books, tuition, and rent. Oh, and don't forget all the student loans I will be paying off for 200 years after I graduate...
  20. yup, ya never know. He may get lucky! or they may get Lucky...now im confused. That was such a terrible attempt at a joke that I actually ended up laughing. 5th grade here I come...
  21. My favorite face mask design is the one that Taylor Mays wears, with the visor. I'm not sure if any Huskers have this style though...
  22. I'm curious how many more plays Suh played than McCoy. I'm sure Suh played quite a bit more, with how bad our offense was at sustaining drives, but it still probably does not make up for the huge discrepancy in their stats. Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure Suh was in for more than 80 plays in the Oklahoma game, and I don't think McCoy even came close to that number. I bet McCoy would have had more like 50 tackles maybe if he played as much as Suh did this season, but maybe not. It's probably worth mentioning though.
  23. Amen. There's no excuse for being a "football expert" and making such a statement. Not only do you have the statistics to back up Suh's dominance, you have game after game after game, and the bigger the stage the better Suh played. On top of all that, you now have the Combine results to show you that Suh is more athletic, more agile and stronger. On top of all of that you have the ridiculous number of awards Suh won, and on top of all of that you have his fourth-place finish in the Heisman AND the fact that he pulled in more votes than any pure defensive player ever. It's not just some evidence. It's not like it's even open to interpretation. It would be like watching the 1996 Fiesta Bowl then voting Florida #1.
