  1. Uh with the peso hagg takes up the will spot I thought Yeah, but its hard enough to make changes like that in the game. Actually, the peso spot takes over the buck or sam LB spot. If you want to play as close to authentic Nebraska peso defense, your best bet would be to make sure that Hagg is the third corner and play nickel defense. Thats what I was going to suggest I know that's what I will probably do.
  2. Sorry to burst your rant, but they have won three. 1996-beat us, 2005-slaughtered Colorado, and 2009-"beat" us I think he ment national titles. If he were talkig about National titles it would be 3-2 True... my bad I guess I read it wrong.

  4. Agreed they would be messing with tradition if they did that and you don't mess with tradition.
  5. Which is when? lol, sorry missed it in the story the first time.. 2 weeks Haha... it's ok. Thanks
  6. We are going to be a master of running our 'multiple' scheme on offense. This does not mean we must be one dimensional. Many teams have been known to both run and pass the ball over the course of a football game. Well, it would be great to "excel" at something offensively. Especially when we're playing something better than SunBelt teams that identity could come in real handy. But anyway....it's great that you're happy with what we do. I hope with all my heart that you're right and we develop crushing "multiple" offenses for many years. We excelled at going three and out, doesn't that count for something.
  7. I mean it's Texas for pete's sakes, don't they always play in primetime
  8. They're pretty obsessed themselves with how they beat up on our bad teams....Did you ever hear Nebraska fans making such a big deal out of beating ou in the 90's? I can't wait till October! The difference being that Texas fans are arrogant, they know they're arrogant, and they're proud of their arrogance. Oh, and they see it as more than them beating up on us when we were down. They think they are more or less the reason we went from being "up" to "down" in the first place. So on 10/16 they are gonna be glad that we are leaving to the Big 10.
  9. true is that That would be a good way to control Texas fans death by affixation Exactly, and you know they'll do it

  11. Looks like Texas found out about the website too. Orangebloods
  12. Watson knows nothing about coaching QB's and don't even bringup Ganz the turnover machine. DON'T TAKE THE NAME OF GANZ IN VAIN he was a gunslinger...but he was one hell of a gunslinger Better than Keller.
  13. Alright I got the easiest one. Hmm... who should I pick...
  14. I made a comment on a Facebook group and next thing I know he friend requested me. We never once spoke about him playing at Nebraska or recruitment at other schools. Honestly, I don't know what to say. That sounds completely fine to me. The rules are there for a good reason, but they were also made before things like Facebook, which completely changed the way people communicate. I don't know how the NCAA could possibly regulate all of this stuff, but it's not really my call to make. Long-set rules often have trouble adapting to changing landscapes - but until it changes, gets eased up or becomes more well defined, that message from the compliance staff is all we've got to work with. T, there are two completely different issues here. Backlash against people stalking on current players (has that even been a huge issue?) is completely different from teetering on the line of recruiting violations. I'd love it if it weren't the case, but it is what it is. I am pretty sure that there are way too many cases of this that the NCAA can't really do anything about it.
  15. It was a mailbag question. Apparently he gave a hasty one word answer about Aaron Green that must have confused a bunch of people. I didn't look too far into it. He said Green had to make the choice of "play with your Texas boys in front of your friends and family" or "play thousands of miles away" Apparently Texas is picking up speed with him due to Nebraska moving to the big10. His last point was that Aaron wouldn't even be considering Nebraska if Andrew wasn't there. That's UT's fault for not recruiting Andrew when they could have. They knew of Aaron when he was a Sophomore while Andrew was a Senior. Yeah, I think he was saying more in the sense that that's the only reason he's considering Nebraska, when it boils down to it other factors might override that. Yeah I'm not gonna read too much into this until Green actually does come out and say that he doesn't approve of the switch to the Big 10, which he probably won't. And besides Texas doesn't know about the relationship our coaches have with Aaron.
  16. Weren't people saying was making between 1 and 1.5 million dollars per PPV? Probably for the total season Maybe cause we usually have what 3 or 4 PPV games a season.
  17. I know alot of us can't wait to have the Big 10 Network so we don't have to pay for PPV, but there are some pretty compelling arguments in here.
  18. So I'm gonna have to remember to pause NCAA '11 to watch it. Great, not sure if I can pull it off.
