Just heard on the radio that someone, didn't catch who, is encouraging Husker fans to wear black to the Wisconsin game so that we stand out. So how many of you are going to the Wisconsin game (sadly, I am not), and what color do you plan to wear? I say white, not black. We are scarlet & cream... not black!

I agree with you completely. I have thought for several weeks that Bo will be gone and I am amazed by the Husker fans who think he would never leave. The bigger question, why would he stay? I have been hearing for a while that he is not happy and I believe it.

Everyone who thinks Bo would never leave DONU is crazy. Bo will leave and in the not too distant future. We need Scott Frost on our staff. No, he's not head coaching material now, but he will be. If the coach of another team, say Missouri, had done this, we would all be up in arms and totally disgusted, but it's Bo so many people in this state are willing to look the other way. What Bo did was classless. No other way to say it.

Is this a story? No. But if Bo wasn't going to follow through, he shouldn't have offered.

Everyone who thinks Bo is here long term is kidding themselves.

I read Chatelain's column this morning and thought he hit the nail on the head.

I am starting to believe that Bo Pelini is not a head coach. No, I am not a troll (I've been on this site for years), and don't want to be tarred & feathered over this, but after this season, I do wonder about Bo has an HC. I don't think in anyway that T.O. won't allow him to make changes, I just don't believe Bo is HC material. He is an defensive genius, but even the D doesn't play up to their potential all the time and Bo knows nothing about the offense and apparently is not willing to over rule Watson. Last year at this time, and into the first few games of this season, I thought we were headed toward something special. But this season has me worried. Next season could be really ugly.

I hope Oregon wins the NC so that Scott Frost wins another NC and then I hope Frost ends up on our staff. I really want him back at NU.

I don't see Bo going to the University of Miami, but I don't see Bo being at Nebraska until retirement either. If a good college offer or NFL offer comes up, I think Bo's gone. I don't pretend to have knowledge, just a gut feeling. No need for tar & feathers.

If Watson does leave (and he will have to leave because I don't think Bo will fire him), who becomes our next OC? I have no clue, but am interested in some of the names you might come up with.

Excellent column by Chatelain. I especially agree with the part about Bo not being a great head coach. This great defense, crummy offense thing is getting old.

I agree that it's spot on. I don't know how anyone could argue with any of it, but I'm certain people will.
