1. Haha it looks like UM and NU are fighting for the "Most QBs On A Roster" Award. I'm not sure I like that, but at least both coaches recognize the game's most important position and are trying to do whatever it takes to find someone who fits their system. He was really good. But I think his competition with Drew Henson are what really made him great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TM7Q4y1trtM <-- Highlights if anyone actually cares.
2. Omg Harbaugh was born on December 23rd...He IS the second coming of Jesus!
3. Ha ha! Seems like Harbaugh is always mixing it up with someone. Now he's taking on a whole conference. A few days ago Moncrief told reporters that Auburn had finally granted him release to UM. I don't know if it was the pressure or whatever, but Malzahn backed off his previous bullsh#t decree. I don't know that Moncrief will even choose Michigan, but that was some petty sh#t right there. I just want fall camp to be here...
4. If Brady Hoke could take UM to the Sugar Bowl in his first year, I don't see why Riley couldn't do something similar. Schedule lines up, still have great talent on the roster and hopefully a program culture shift could mean a lot. I'm excited to watch ya'll this year and also bummed we don't play again for so long. Here's to an NU-UM championship game.
5. Guys, there's no need to hate. We don't play each other until 2119. Join us. Hate MSU and OSU with us. We're friends. Join us.
6. I mean, you'll never get any definitive proof, but after Narduzzi's whole "60 minutes of unnecessary roughness", it's hard to believe Dantonio wasn't largely responsible for what happened during that game. Link for those unfamiliar. "Narduzzi should have chosen his words better after the game, but I think he was speaking more to the defense's tough, physical approach against Michigan than any intent to go over the line." If you want to believe that Narduzzi, not Dantonio, was the real mastermind behind that defense then sure, it was all Narduzzi and Dantonio had nothing to do with their entire "60 minutes of unnecessary roughness" strategy. I, personally, don't agree with that. That's fine. And with all my bitching about the cheapness? It worked, they kicked our ass. But I hope no coach for any team I root for is looking to injure kids.
7. I mean, you'll never get any definitive proof, but after Narduzzi's whole "60 minutes of unnecessary roughness", it's hard to believe Dantonio wasn't largely responsible for what happened during that game. Link for those unfamiliar. Two words: Taylor Lewan Who was a player, not a coach. Taylor Lewan sucks. I won't argue with that.

9. It's not like he planted a stake in his heart....oh wait, that was Michigan doing it to Michigan St. It ain't just one-sided. As so seriously stupid as the whole tent stake thing was in EVERY way it was handled, it was just that, stupid and dumb. Not dangerous.
10. He's a great coach. He's also a juvenile, bitter man whose hatred for Michigan almost broke Denard Robinson's neck.
11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5aehcjvzJ8?t=48 f#*k dantonio. He is an absolute piece of sh#t.
12. This is one thing that Meechicken fans should be encouraged about. They have most of their contributors back. Even if they did drop seven games last year. I didn't catch their spring game this weekend. But BTN will probly replay it a zillion times this week. So I might try to watch a bit of it. Try not to pay attention to the offense.
13. First of all, I've never heard of that expression but ok. Do you really think UM and NU are that different right now? Anyways. Will he win the job? A lot of Michigan fans think so. I think that really shows you how terrible the previous staff recruited and developed QBs. I honestly think that with a literal "average big 10" QB floor, UM's ceiling for total wins just got much higher. We all knew the D was going to carry the team during this year of transition, but we just can't have the O constantly f'ing everything up and turning it over.
14. mark clayton on espn whos a pretty decent info guy in my opinion said Harbaugh had reached out to some other NFL teams and basically took the Michigan job as a "backup" ( not sure if that was his exact word) and fully expects Harbaugh to be back in the Nfl within 3 years when the right fit and circumstances open up. Look. I like you guys. But if you're basing your opinions on "Mark" clayton (I assume you mean John Clayton) after the debacle the NFL media went through during this coaching search I really don't know what to say. Harbaugh will stay AT LEAST through his current contract. That's not to say he won't ever leave for the league, but let's just forget about the idea that he simply took the UM job to bide for time until Belichick retires.
15. Too bad we whiffed on Turley from Stanford, but I like what Harbs is putting together so far.
16. I think we're both going to be good and I think we should all be friends.
17. I agree with everyone saying that Harbaugh is no sure thing. He's not. But he's the best hire for UM since Schembechler. I think people doubting his prowess and/or saying he'll leave within 3 years are simply putting blinders over their eyes. I think we have at least a decade of Harbaugh. And I'm not trying to start sh#t. Despite the random hate UM gets on this board, NU is still my favorite B1G West squad and I hope that the championship comes down to both of our programs each year.
18. I don't know what's going on here anymore. Whatever. Harbaugh.
19. It's kinda sad watching the dumpster fire that Meechicken's coaching search has turned into. How long will they twist in the wind? Will they lose their entire recruiting class? Reminds me a lot of our own 2007 coaching search. Well, except we were only offering about one-third as much money. I hope they hire someone, anyone, soon to bring an end to this painful debacle. How is it painful? We have a clear option A who won't make a decision until after his season is over. Despite what many seem to believe, Michigan has a legit shot of landing him. If it starts getting into that week after New Years and nothing has happened? That's when the pain starts. Oh, well maybe I misread that umgoblue post that I quoted. It must be great fun seeing the guy you ran out of town on a rail get coach of the year in the Pac-12. I'm sure it's quite entertaining watching every other FBS team in Michigan--including the Central Michigan Chippewas and the Western Michigan Broncos--playing in bowl games while your team sits home in sports bars watching them. It probably gives your fans a warm fuzzy feeling that you floated a job offer for $8 million--the biggest coaching offer in history--to an alum, only to have him slow play you to see if he can come up with some other viable offer. No doubt that Meechicken fans are jumping with joy over the six commitments currently in your recruiting class. I'll admit it. I just don't have a good feeling for what makes you Vulvarines tick. "Vulvarines". Good one. Clearly you were inundated with some sort of hate before your move the the B1G, because I certainly haven't had time yet to come up with such creative, original insults for NU. As for the rest of your post, "lol". I don't know what else to say to that. I'm glad most of the rest of the posters on this board aren't as douchey as you.

21. Aren't they still trying to recover from the mess they made with Rich Rod? That's kind of the point I am making. They made the "splash" hire and it failed in their minds. They thought they were on the right track after hiring Hoke when he was the next big coaching name and for one year they were good and then it failed in their minds. If they go all in and don't get Harbaugh-They will be toast for a while If they go all in and get Harbaugh and he can't do at Michigan what he did at Stanford-They will be toast for a while. I am glad Husker fans aren't dealing with this. Rich rod was a last second back up, no matter how good of a coach he is (and i believe he is truly a great coach). We were all in on Les Miles in 07 and Lloyd Carr and our AD at the time f'd it up.
22. Michigan pulls a Chicago and cancels the football progam. declares we are a softball school that 50 mill goes directly to the solar car team
23. These NFL reporters are an absolute joke. This number has been floating around for at least a week now and they are backpedalling so hard.
