I just cant see the Mad Hatter leaving LSU. Or Belotti coming out of retirement to coach Colorado. Yeah that won't happen. Neither will Gruden, even suggesting it is laughable. He could have easily taken the Notre Dame job last year had he wanted it. So I highly doubt he sees Boulder as a better option than both the Irish and his cushy ESPN contract. That's some pretty pie in the sky thinking. They'll lose some points, maybe, but there is just no way we jump over an undefeated TCU. Ditto BSU. It's possible that Auburn will lose and help us out, but I just don't see Oregon losing to anyone, and that leaves us solidly out of the picture. Besides, we sure can't sleep on the rest of our schedule. I think we'll win out, but you did see the TAMU-Okie game, right?

Cy, last year and this year, ISU did play with us. In fact, with Paul Rhoads around, you guys might have made it a competitive series year in and year out. I am not making any excuses for us - you guys flat played some ball, and hung in there, and showed lots of heart. But there's no moral victories in football. If there was we'd have a winning record against TXass. I feel your pain, but a L is a L however it comes.
