  1. High ankle sprains can heal within a week. Guy in high school got one, everyone thought it was broken, but he was back the next week at 100 percent. Taylor is a tough kid anyways, he will be ready.
  2. Agreed, however there was about 10 other players in that game that needed it before Martinez. He probably should have been brought back in at some point because he is the only quick-strike we have. Truth is up to this point, we have been a One-trick pony and Will Muschamp is too good of a DC for that.
  3. These "One Bad Game's" seem to be adding up. I'm telling you guys, this team is in trouble, but it is fixable.
  4. To be fair they got boned hard in week one with the Calvin Johnson call.
  5. Agreed. The thing I miss most about it was the option pass. It was devastating to an aggressive defense. The shotgun run-game is way too slow developing. Just look at what Wisconsin did against Ohio St. with a quick hitting, lead blocking I-Formation attack. The read-option works when a defense is tired and threatened by a passing game. Watson should know this and more importantly, Bo should know this.
  6. The fact that Martinez was pulled before Thenarse, Paul, Kinnie, and Burkhead shows that the coaching staff really doesn't have a clue, and not just Watson(although he's still a dick), the whole staff.
  7. I couldn't agree more dude. Not to mention how great a quick hit with a FB lead blocking would be, with an occasional dive to the FB. The zone read offense is too slow developing.
  8. I see alot of tickets available for high number rows 80+. Just wondering how good/bad the view is from a seat like that in Memorial stadium. I imagine the atmosphere is still incredible but I don't wanna spend money on bad seats, if there even is one. And which sections should be avoided in Memorial stadium? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.
  9. The hard reality is that Martinez is only a freshmen and Green is only a Sophomore. Up until now Taylor has played like a veteran but we had to know that a game like this was coming, and I agree that it will happen again. But the bright side is that with his struggles he managed 215 yds and still scored enough points to win. The down side is Watson really doesn't allow Taylor to develop a rhythm, so far its has been predictable and situational passing attack. Green just doesn't seem to get playing time in a manageable situation. He is always backed up in our own territory. Don't sell Minnet too short also. I agree that Thomas is a better back on a better team but Minnet is a beast of a back. My brother played against Minnet in high school and this dude tore up teams for 200-350 yds a game(and I'm not exaggerating the stats are there). Minnet holds about every high school rushing record in Minnesota.
  10. So how many times does this need to happen before it is his problem then? One thing is for sure, he doesn't coach discipline.
