  1. Tackles for Loss #17 Missouri-- 7.29 #119 Nebraska-- 3.14 Holy f*&* Sacks #9 Missouri-- 3.00 #72 Nebraska-- 1.71 Sacks Allowed #17 Missouri-- 1.00 #33 Nebraska-- 1.29 from Ncaa site, it says updated on 10/23. This one is big for me. Our defense has not been creating many TFLs. I think this mainly comes from our primary defensive scheme. We just don't send a lot of guys in the backfield to create TFLs. We try to keep the play in front of us and have good man coverage. I sometimes wonder what would happen if we loaded the line/ blitzed more often. How often do we Blitz?
  2. Im glad to see Kinnie becoming a playmaker. If Paul can hold on to the ball, which I think he will, I can see the pass being extremely useful. Having two threats at receiver will sure help us. I did notice that it looked as if Martinez throws the ball really low sometimes during the Ok St. game. Did y'all see that too?
  3. I see Watson opening up the playbook for this one since this, I believe, will be the game that decides the North. Mizzou now knows that we can pass and our receivers can actually catch them. I am looking to see Nebraska running at the beginning of the game then open up the passing game. So, I would say that Watson will want it to be 50-50 run/pass ratio.
  4. Let's hope, I can't wait to see Lavonte David next year. I think he will be a beast. Has anyone seen Santos play? You can watch his highlights on his ESPN profile. Thanks
  5. Martinez named Walter Camp POTW. GBR!!!! ttp://nebraska.scou.../2/1014973.html

  7. Not really. Missouri was a 3.5pt dog at A&M and a 3pt dog at home to Oklahoma. Considering the game is in Lincoln it just seems like they are being consistent. Missouri knew they would be underdogs through this entire three game strech. That line will move a lot I think before the game gets going. Agreed, unless we call Suh up to screw up Blaine's ankle again.
  8. well you know i like him a little more..... given that the staff told him all of this and he is still high on us makes you believe that the staff would love to have this kind of guy on the team if things work out...... He could gray shirt if he really wanted to play for Nebraska.
  9. Will we run the Peso against them or will we go with the Dime package primarily? I'm still learning about football as I spent my whole life playing hockey. Thanks.
  10. That's crap that Southern Cal can be ranked in the AP poll especially since they cannot go to a bowl game. Oh well, like what has been said earlier, these polls don't matter.
  11. Why would they de-commit and commit to Nebraska? This is Kelly's first year at the helm, If I was a recruit I would stay committed because its a prestigious University and Its only Kelly's first year. I do have the same pipe dreams of y'all and wish that these recruits would come to Nebraska but I do not see it happening.
  12. Does Mizzou run the no huddle offense then? I was reading Huskerextra and there was a quote by Hagg stating "I was just thanking God our offense was making plays," defensive back Eric Hagg said of the Nebraska defense's struggles, especially before halftime."They were moving fast," Hagg said of Oklahoma State's hurry-up attack, "and we got kind of tired." 13. After their upset of Oklahoma, I am worried that our D can't stand up against the run as well as they can the pass. What do Y'all think?
  14. I wouldn't mind him if he did choose the MLB. I would if I was projected as a high draft pick. Money makes the world go round.
  15. I would be happy with 11-2 as long as we still win the north, the CCG and go to a BCS game. Bo will get the players ready for OK ST. Besides that we seem to be better is we don't play in memorial stadium.
  16. I would really hope so. However, he did say that he was going to make his commit on a Sunday. So we might have to wait till next Sunday... Well it better be next Sunday, because if Green was talking in riddles and really he just meant some random Sunday I am going to go crazy. I don't have the patience to go through many more Sundays after yesterday and waiting for a commitment all day long. Maybe he meant Monday. I get my days mixed up too. Dang the !!! I believe that he will commit here, but I guess that would be the logical choice.
  17. Nexus, Have you heard anything about Mr. Green? Whether he would commit or if he lost interest? Thanks
  18. I blame it on gravity. It always ruins my day just like it did with the Huskers.
  19. I disagree with your statement, there are 11 players who needed to execute with precision and work as a team. The players did not execute the system well enough. This premature assessment of Watson is completely wrong. You have to be patient. This system will work when the Huskers start executing it with precision. We still have a lot of games to play and I believe that the coaches will get this problem fixed.
  20. I agree 100%. The Texas defense knew that Nebraska's main playmaker was Martinez and since he kept getting stuffed, either by bad reads or nerves, the Husker coaching staff knew that we needed to put in someone else who could throw it. I was also very discouraged by the play of the O-line.
  21. 14th in the AP poll Linky: http://sports.ap.org/college-football/poll/ap
