Husker in Aggieland

Hubby and I might stop by...which parking lot (or near to which one)? We are currently located here in town, but to hell if I know my nsew directions...

For those saying NE should have 20k students at a game need to remember the difference in the size of the school....25k students at UNL...A&M has significantly MORE (almost 50k).

...now I have to convince my husband that our 1 year old thought it would be cool to turn our first floor into a blanket fort/city! Why do I think he'll give me a dirty look even if I use that Queen size Husker comforter we have?!?!

I don't know of anything specific...there should be plenty of tailgates in lots 100 right by the stadium. Parking lot 50 will have tons of RVs...that's on the East side of campus (closer to Highway 6). Hope you can find a TV....but most of the tailgaters will welcome you.

It's going to be CRAZY loud! 1700 seats added to the track to accommodate extra people....

Sure I've had some really rotten experiences with Aggie fans...not all of them, but it only takes a handful to ruin an experience. I am HUSKER by all means...born and raised a Husker fan. I look forward to finding the great Aggie fans I hear of and tailgating with them and enjoying a great game. Cash parking will definitely fill up fast. Most of them open 5+ hours before the game...those on campus open even earlier. For those who can't get in early enough, Post Oak Mall has a free shuttle to the game and back. Highway 6 and Harvey Mitchell.

I live in College Station...my husband and I will be at the game. Who all is tailgating?!?! We'll be looking for our fellow Husker fans. We are in section 501. What kind of food are ya'll looking for? BBQ? (There are some good local places) Honestly...the Aggie fans aren't that great...I've been here for almost 5 years...many of them take pride in destroying a town when they travel. Of course that isn't all of them and there should be some good tailgates to stop by. If anyone wants info on how town is set up or places to park, etc. let me know!

I'm IN College Station...god help me...trust me the trash talking is bad around here....I'm hoping that a week from now will give me TONS to come back with! They ARE offering super cheap tickets to students and friends of students in order to over pack the stadium with pscyho, cult-esque students... We have our Nebraska side tickets and can't wait to see some friendly faces here in town! Daddy raised his little girl a Husker fan from the day I was born, I lived and breathed Husker life during my undergrad....9 more months and I am OUT of a&m hell!

I'm not sure I am thrilled about a night game...however it will be warmer than a night game at home! I'll be there and SO EXCITED to be going!!!! I'll be looking for other Huskers for some tailgating pre-game!!
