It looks like with the texas network ironed out that A&M has decided to bail and it wont be long before the the big 12 is no more. It just makes me wonder if nebraska will go down in history as the smart school that was the first to get off the sinking ship or the School that started the hole that is sinking the ship. I give it a less than 10% chance of being accurate. But if Wilson does end up coming to Nebraska--or even if Nebraska goes hard after him--I think it would be reasonable to conclude that something is seriously amiss with Martinez, at least in Bo and Beck's eyes. In short, Wilson coming to Nebraska would confirm there are big issues with Martinez. Out of curiosity, anyone know if Wilson still has a redshirt year available? Or is it one and done? I don't believe he used a redshirt. However, since he will be a graduate student, I don't think he will be able to use one at his future school... My big question is: where did this notion of Nebraska "pursuing" Wilson come from? I've been looking and can't find any list of schools that have shown interest in him yet... Not saying that there aren't any, just saying that they probably haven't been released yet. ESPN radio down here in Raliegh has been talking about this for the last couple days mostly what i have heard is that you probably wont ontell he signs somewhere there are atleast 2 SEC schools interested On being Auburn. The kid has talent and took a talent limited team and put them at 10 - 4. If you think about it that is what NU ended the season with. Nebraska IS more talented the NC state. With better weapons to throw to and run behind he could very good. IMO T-Mart needs a year of rest and learning before he should be taking team back. I think all the qb in our line up could learn something from an experinced college QB that is known for his hard work. The Rockies drafted him becuase theyt like his work ethic but he is hitting low 200s in the minors so he wants to come back to football. The NC state fanbase is pretty upset the released him. I dont know if he will fit at nebraska or not but i sure would like to see him try.

Russell Wilson the QB for NC state got released from his football scholarship and is " 95% sure he will be playing one more year for some team". We are one the 12 teams pursuing him rumor is over here in Raleigh NC. I know a couple NC state alumnis that are very sorry to see him go and think the best of him. LINK

Just because we have players with a criminal record doesn't mean we do not run a clean program (that goes for every program). I am a strong believer that through structure and good coaches it partly the programs job to reform these athletes. The whole idea is to turn these boys into men by giving them the tools to succeed. Every program is going to have "bad" kids and i would agree that having to many "bad" kids is a bad thing for the program, but hopefully the program turns them into success stories. And yeah we have had DUI's, and drug and assault problems in the past. IMO nothing that isn't to be expected sadly. I guess I worded that wrong. I didn't think we would be above texas and LSU on the list.

I coworker brought this to my attention today I thought it was interesting that Nebraska had 4 players with criminal record. I guess that isn't very many but I always thought we ran a pretty clean program. I’m interested to know who the guys are and what they got in trouble for. My link

Wisconsin, they play hard nose big guy football like we do and they have a similar fan base, fanatical for the love of there team but also respectful of other teams and there fans. OSU fans im not so sure about...

We will get a top end ranking for our top end recruiting class.

After watching the TCU Vs Wisconsin game it is hard to say that we wouldnt be able to stop the power run. The TCU defense relies heavily on speed much like NU's. If our Linebackers play fast and smart and fill the gaps we should be Good.
