You got slammed because you started a thread that said Mangino was in Lincoln for interviews when there was already a thread saying the same thing. Nobody slammed you because you said Watson was gone. Everybody thought the CCG was the final nail in Watson's coffin. No I asked If anyone could confirm if Magino was really in Lincoln, Because my SOURCE ( i WILL USE IT NOW) Said he hadnt heard anything that Magino was in Lincoln. I could tell you about one in Peru in 1987 when I was still in Highschool. It involved Marines though. He is a buddy of mine now. Your right cornholio, I am one of the few that recieved 100 percent disability. I live a nice secure life now because of it. But to many are denied and do not recive anything or maybe 100 dollars a month but cant function in life.Your right though they are trinketts but with those trinkettes you get respect and people will listen to you. I hope to expose Dec 8th 1994 when 236 infrantrymen were wounded in action and were told to forget about it.Just know that a couple of Grunts that day were crippled and careers were ended that day.The VA does not allow claims for that operation and guys are left out in the cold for it. The book is called "the only thing worth dying for" Jason and his team put the afghanistan president into power. Everyone of the team were either wounded or killed. Jason and my operation were when we were grunts that 236 of us were wounded in action on december 8th 1994. The operation was surpressed and to this day I think a couple of guys are crippled. I had seen heavy combat before this day dec 8th 1994 but nothing like the savageness of this. It is still talked about in afghanstan and Iraq between grunts that were there taht day and we all say give me bulletts,artillery,grenades and being overrun befroe you send me back to dec 8t 1994

There is a big thing going on right now where a operation of 236 infrantry men were wounded in action and it got swept under the rug. We are trying to get the wounded their purple hearts and other awards.Put it where you think it is best Why would they want purple hearts or other medals? Its not that they would want them. Its about recongnizing dec 8th 1994. That operation is still talked about battled hardned vets still in afghanistan and Iraq. Alot of them say there was nothing like dec 8th 1994. And that is coming from guys that have seen things that you cant imagine. After dec 8th 1994 a company that saw the worst of it became addicted to cocaine. It was that brutal of a day. Time for this operation to come out and these guys get the recognition of that day and some finally get their disability from it.

I talk to Jason a couple times a week. That is the guy who the book is about. The book portrays him accurately as when he speaks in the book it is the same old Jason/lol. He is now at the pentagon as a public spokesman. His carrer is basically done. Just waiting to hit the 20 year mark.

This is how Afghanistan was overthrown and a operation Jason and I were on had 236 Infrantry men wounded in action in 20 minutes and not one of us recieved purple hearts or any awards for Dec 8th 1994.Very good book about his team and afghanistan in 2001.Plus the operation I was on with Jason is mentioned in the book.
