A simple solution to this would be to develop the passing game.... but in any event it is imperative that we keep the defense from having to stay on the field for so long. Offenses like Oregon, Boise St., OU and similar offenses have speed and deception, and , I believe that the more fun the offense is the more the players will buy into it.

The resignation of Tressel will have little, if any effect on the game against the Huskers. The players are still the same and it is the execution of plays on the field that really make a difference. I want to beat the best anyway.....

It is imperative that the offense not be so predictable this year. This means that we need to develop a better passing game and concentrate on making tough catches as well as the easy ones. Speed is also very important and I hope that Beck brings something refreshing to the table this season. We really shouldnt have to rely on the defense game in and game out to win it for us. if TM has developed into a better passer he won have to run so much and thus avoid a lot of injuries. Teams wouldn't know what to think if he only carried the ball 10-15 times a game

To say that CG's leaving sux is an understatement, however, his inconsistency an proneness to mishandle the ball was a big strike against him. He is a good kid that will probablyu thrive in a zip and go offense like B. State. The best option for NU right now is to find a juco QB that is a gamer and maybe even challenge TMart for the job. If he is not looking over his shoulder he will get complacent .

one of the main problems with the option offense is that if you get behind its hard to come back..... however, the present offense really isnt that bad, we just need more variety-- more passess on first down (preferably to the tight ends), more misdirections, LESS zone reads, and MORE deep post plays

Have they fired Watson yet???? If not, whats the hold up? WE CANNOT have such a lethargic offense going into the Big 10 next year, healthy Martinez or not. We are too predictable..... 3rd and 11 and you run a play action pass play???? Really???? I will take the job for free....

T-Magic going to WR would be a stretch... I heard that the guy is a real A-hole and no one on the team likes him.
