Per the hearings and statements from the FBI and everyone involved with the vetting process, Syria doesn't have a computer system that has information about the people that live in their country. We also don't have a presence in Syria, so we literally don't know anything about these people. As of now they are just going through interviews and we are taking their word for it and letting them in the country. To do it the right way we need to set up "safe zones" where we protect them, feed them, and give them a place to sleep while they are getting vetted by the people on the ground. Of course to do that it will take some kind of military presence, along with state department personnel to do the research to make sure that they are not ISIS trying to say they are a refuge just to get over here and to kill Americans they way they have done in Europe. ISIS has publicly stated that they will infiltrate the refugees and that threat needs to be taken seriously.

If they cared that much about guns, they had the 60 votes and a Democratic President to do whatever they wanted. So to blame it on the republicans in 2015 was asinine to say the least. And the Republicans are paying the Democrats back for doing the same thing to Bush from 2006-2008 when he had the chance to replace a SCOTUS member. Henry Reid told him to not even try because the Democratic Senate wouldn't allow any of his nominee's to get heard and the next President was going to have the chance to pick the replacement SCOTUS member. The part that frustrates me more than anything is that people in the media are being racist by calling Trump supporters racist for voting for him. People voted against Hillary for several reasons and none of it had to do with her being a woman. Not really. LAT/USC had T+3 and IBD had T+2. When in reality Hillary will win by ~1 point when CA is finished counting. Marist had C+1 and Google had C+2. Those look to be the closest. I disagree as it is a result of two things. How the media unfairly covered him and the pure ignorance of those who are protesting. You can't reach out and talk to ignorant people who won't listen in the first place. The only thing that needs to change is that these protesters need to grow up. I mean the entire left is embarrassing themselves from the "celebrities" to the leftist media and then the ignorant masses. He made this bed himself and people are upset the media reported it. Are you saying that if Hillary would have won and she made a great speech, you would have stopped hating her and embraced her? There is a difference between reporting it and the sh#t show they did. They coverage was very unfair as the liberal media was in the tank for her. They didn't spend any time talking about her flaws, they just hammered him 24-7. It's shared, the first part anyway, by a lot of posters here. But boy, it's not my opinion. Colin doesn't owe a thing to liberals, or Democrats, or fellow #BLMers or anthem protesters, etc. And his opinion, as frankly unbelievable as I find it, is shared -- not at all unfairly! -- by others who feel that the Democratic Party is equally ignorant of or implicit in systemic injustice. Why these people are fine with Trump, I struggle to understand. It is just ironic that he is standing up for the half of his genetics that left him after he was conceived, which was part of why the biological mother gave him up for adoption so he could have a better life that she could give him by herself. If I was the parents who adopted him it would be hard not to feel like this is a slap in the face on some level. As for your second part, neither party has done much for them since the Republicans fought and won to abolish slavery. The Republican party is was also the first to have any African American's win office under their party's name. The Democrats have been the party that has been historically racist against them as the KKK was started to help the southern democrats intimidate them as a people. Now the Democrats do a "fly by" to get their vote every 4 years and the Republicans don't even try because they are going to vote around 90% for the Dems even though they have done nothing for them. With the largest knock on the party being that they are much worse off now than they were when Obama took office. They were sold on "hope" and "change" and all they got was jack and sh#t. It has to be demoralizing to say the least.

Being a 49ers fan I was able to meet them in Atlanta the day before the 2012 NFC Championship Game as I stayed in the same hotel as them. Very nice people and I see where he is coming from, but don't think he is the right person for this protest. But it is his right to do this and at least he isn't doing anything stupid like burning or stepping on the flag like those retards were doing outside of the Trump rallies. One is even called "F your flag." (on YouTube) Those people are the ones that need to be deported, not the "illegals" that are working and being a productive member of society.

He has too and the only way to do it is to have an independent council to take the politics out of it. That way it can be over one way or the other, but there is more than enough evidence to put the entire family in jail for a long time. Lynch is likely to go down for not doing her job either. If they wanted to they could get Obama, but they will let him off the hook. IMO the only way this doesn't happen is if Obama pardons her in the next 70 days. Because if they don't have an independent council review the evidence, then he will look like he is part of the problem in a corrupt Washington. Not to mention you have people in jail now for doing far less such as that kid who took 6 photo's while in the Navy on a classified submarine. The photos were not in the classified area, but they were not allowed and he got a year in jail for it. That is nothing in comparison to what she did.

As someone who has spent a lot of time in the military it's where you cut and what you add that makes for an effective military budget. Both sides are guilty of not cutting horrible contracts that waste a ton of tax dollars on projects that don't work out or are a decade behind schedule. They don't get cut because the contractors have lobbyists that pay off the right people on both sides. Where Obama screwed up just like Bill did in the late 90's was that he cut people to save money and went after people's benefits and changed the retirement of the armed forces. The people who come in now get a 401K plan instead of a pension every month for the rest of your life after 20 years which is total BS. Then he also added silly crap like $8.5 million a year to pay for guys to get their dicks cut off if they decide one day that they want to be a woman. Personally I don't care what people want to be identified as, but taxpayer money shouldn't be used to preform the surgeries for them. It should be out of pocket as it is a decision that is made by them. Not to mention they give same sex couples 10 days of free leave to get married that normal couples don't get. It's silly stuff like this that makes him so unpopular with the military and why Trump won 71% of the military vote as she wasn't able to separate herself from him on the issues that would hurt her like this. Finally the annual raises have been lower than inflation since he has been in office, which also hurt him and the Democrats in the eyes of the military.

She would never have lived down doing the speech while crying. Although maybe it would've made her seem more human, but that doesn't help her anymore. As an anti-Clinton person I didn't have a problem with her waiting until later that morning to give her concession speech.

I wouldn't expect any less from anyone who was in her positon. The hit to the ego had to be unbearable as everything was given to her and she still couldn't beat a reality tv star. This loss ends her political career and unless Obama pardons her, then she will also likey face a real investigaion into all of the crap that Obama and Lynch protected her from over the last year.
