  1. They're entertaining for about six hours. Four days later? There Is No Place Like Nebraska
  2. Yes, but it's kinda like winning the biggest dick contest when you're in a room full of women. Don't lie, you like the analogy. Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner
  3. The first two games of this year (and two games last year). It sounds like he was being demoted in favor of some younger guys due to the UCLA performance, and the big guy quit on the team....
  4. Thats no jersey, thats a treasure! I have an autographed hat from Eric Crouch, he walked into a pizza restuarant I worked at in high school. I live out of state, so it was real crazy....
  5. I thought 2007 was lacking in Talent, but Bo came in and proved that to be untrue.... I have faith that Bo can find the right guys, and make the right changes. I mean, the guy didn't forget how to coach defense overnight.... We'll be fine....
  6. FLU, You were Embarrassed by the guys on the field? These guys texting you got you embarrassed? I can show you examples of what I would be embarrassed about and it is not a situation I had any control over! Embarrassing for me is waking up in the morning and finding a 300 pound plus woman in my bed and knowing my friends know about it! Embarrassing for me is having to take a pee and going into an alley and whipping it out and that ONE COP just comes walking by! Embarrassing for me is being at a party with some high end people and Sharting myself and having to leave, never to return! Embarrassing for me was the time I called the woman Sir,because I really thought she was a skinny man and having her correct me! But your embarrassed about what 22 players did in a Football game and getting text messages??? WOW. Yep, when you live and breathe and bleed that team, damn right. BTW dude, sounds to me like you have some serious issues. How do I have serious Issues? Please elaborate. This is coming from a guy Embarrassed about a football game. So please tell me how I have Issues MR. I BLEED RED AND I HAVE 1 MILLION BUMPER STICKERS AND ONLY HAVE NEBRASKA SHIRTS GUY! Dude, relax, it was a joke. And who said anything about bumper stickers and Nebraska shirts? I have a total of 1 Nebraska decal and 2 Husker t-shirts and 1 jersey 1 Nebraska license plate cover, 3 Husker shirts, and 4 Husker hats.... Jerseys are for children....
  7. In the case of all three (Green, Moore, Rome) it seems that playing time, or the losing of their starting spots could have been the issues that they had with the program.... Watching Abdullah now, it seems obvious why Green left.... Green is 4th player Who is the other aside from Rome, Green, and Moore.... Klachko Ah yes, I could I forget....

  10. I'll double down on that height of stupidity. Don't you pretty much have to have a beast at DT for a 3-4 to work? Who is our "beast?" It isn't Steinkuhler. Valentine is injured and will see little if any time (they want to redshirt him). The only guys who physically fit the mold are Todd Peat, Jr. and Vincent Valentine (both just barely) and they're both injured. I'm not up on current events. Has anyone with any semblance of credibility confirmed this? No
  11. I think Jay Guy fits that mold 6-1 310 but haven't herd his name mentioned since the mn game last year. Jay Guy can be found on the bottom of the depth chart. I never understood that offer, he always looked "sloppy" big for someone that is suppose to be a good athlete. The exception to that rule would be Wilfork, and Raji....
  12. The guy was on him right after the read.... RGIII gets sacked there.... Besides it was the wrong read by Martinez....
  13. I think "The Dude" was pointing out that the points you make are made multiple times, throughout multiple posts, scattered across multiple threads..... and maybe even multiple message boards....
  14. HOw come I think I agree with you Husker shark? I am proficient in 3 languages, But I think/know that some on this site do speak Bo PELINI! Sissy walked out! End of story. He transfers to some unknown school never to be heard from again! I remember a certain Army school I attended in the military. There were Seals there, there were force recon and recon marines there! There were other special units there! I remember seeing how big these guys were and in the back of my mind thought no way I could compete with them and was very intimidated. Needless to say as the school went on I watched some 5 star guys fall out. Was I the best? Heck NO! But I kept grinding it out. Well Chase Rome was one of those special players that mentally quit is all! By the way did not finish the school! something about a PLF and hitting head, head and head finished me off/lol. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. When sh1t gets tough, do you grab your balls, throw them over your shoulder and get sh1t done or do you quit? Guess we know what Rome does...
  15. I don't think that you are giving enough credit to the difficulty involved in running the zone read wildcat (like Rex).... The safety last Saturday shows the difficulty involved.... I have said nothing of the "difficulty" involved in running the zone read Wildcat -- I simply asked if someone had heard of any other players practicing at the position. Turner makes sense. I believe it also requires the ability of an inside runner. Turner would be at higher risk of injury running inside like that. What is he, 170 lbs.? So, I guess you're saying you have no actual answer to the question, but you have opinions of the idea of another player in the role of the Wildcat QB? That is the insight that makes this board so valuable. My bad.... No, I am not aware if the Nebraska coaching staff has plans to insert another player into the "Wildcat Offense QB" role.... You read the same newspapers/websites the rest of us do....
  16. What other choice would this team have? Valentine and Jay Guy fit the mold you just described, but Valentine is young, and who the hell knows where Jay Guy is....Probably at Knapps favorite Burger Joint....
  17. What? Bo has proven here at Nebraska that his system works..... 2009 ring a bell? 2010? Yeah, when we had 3 linemen that made it to the league on our D-Line. We need to adapt to our talent level and recognize our weaknesses. I disagree, Bo needs to RECRUIT better.... I think he has the last couple years.... While I agree my point still stands. He has to realize that we don't have the talent upfront to be successful with the 2 gap system right now. So we need to adapt a new strategy that works with out talent level. If we get the talent back one day we can go back to the system but it just doesn't work with our talent. Image running Georgia Tech's offense with a QB that runs a 5.8 40. It just doesn't make sense. Agreed. Dumbing down the system to get current young "athletes" on the field would be wise. Speed is a need!

  21. I'd give Moss a look at that DE spot opposite of Ankrah....Meredith is incredibly slow. Talk about a guy who peaked early in his career.... My concern is all these guys are way too undersized to be playing defensive end in a 34. Reasonable point. Especially when we enter B1G play. I guess the ideal formation (with the guys we have) would be: Ankrah----Steinkuler----K.Williams Martin----Compton----Santos/Andersen----Cooper Evans----Stafford----(Who knows?)----Mitchell (love this kid's potential)
  22. Valentine could plug up that NT spot as early as next year.... I hope that Bo does go with the 3-4 look, have to try something right?
  23. That's probably close. Don't be surprised to see Roach get a look aside Compton. I have not heard Roach's name in awhile........
