We have to blitz a little bit more tonight. I know the Pelinis don't like to, but Carr is feeling NO pressure at all. Carr is better than a lot of the QB's we'll see in conference play.

They've had little success stretching the field on Bama, because of this I feel that the Tide is jumping all over anything 15 yards in. Also, no the turnovers aren't helping. Crewe I hear you about a certain recruit.

Just don't see enough speed in PSU to put pressure on Bama. I think if their QB play was better, it'd be closer, imo

From the sound of it we could be his best, honest shot at QB at a top level program. I truly believe that PSU will only use him as the aforementioned Derrick Williams, because I had no idea about Mornhinweg.

Hmm...boy does NU have a lot of big time prospects for that game... Most importantly, Michael Rose, our ace recruiter Bingo, the kid has done alot of work. After his football playing days are done he could make a hell of a coach/recruiter. For real! He is showing outstanding qualities

went to saw him play a while back and was kinda impressed but to be honest he didnt seem to stand out to me.... of course i dont have the complete football eye and might have missed a lot of the 'little things' he might have done.... based on my time at the game and talking to people it seems like KBL is stoked on the offer but it seems like he was getting a little slow played...... It all depends on were other players go. If we miss on some guys then we will Take KBL. But for right now, I dont think his offer is commitbale. Agreed

He's going to trim his list this weekend to a final five. Look for PSU, Rutgers, UCLA, Michigan, and Nebraska to be his final five. Its rumored that Nebraska leads because of our offense, and how much he likes Coach Beck. To add: Michigan wasn't even in his original top 11. But they have made a push as of late, they called him at the beginning of the month. Thanks speed, this is a guy I really want on board. I am curious as to what Hoke actually wants for a QB going forward, he has a number of dual-threat guys from the rodriguez tenure.

Was on the radio a little before 6 on 1480. Gave the trip an A+. Loved everything, reaffirming his choice, being it was a verbal sight unseen. The fans, HuskerVision, all the bells and whistles impressed him. Said he got chills, when the Blackshirts intro and Tunnel Walk videos were on. Talked with David about his weight issues. Lavonte said not to worry about it, Dobbs will get his where he needs to be. Talked with PJ about the academic help as well. Sees himse lf as an OLB, thinking as a WILL. Likes Ross Els, and says a lot of the drills and philosophies are similar to what he is doing now. He is excited and said the trip all in all was "sick" One tiny thing at the end though, when Chris Schmidt asked him if his trips were all done, he did say, and not overly convincingly, he's "pretty sure". Overrated. Brian Kelly is a pretty good coach, but many thought this would be a BCS year..it ain't lookin good. Kelly still needs to get their defense shored up as that was a problem for the last few years. Until their D gets better, they will still underachive.

UGA is consistently overrated most years, but it was a very good win for them. I do agree that they couldn't do it consistently over a season. They are legit in the sense that they are a good team this year. Any other conference and UGA would be a good team. In the Big 12, they'd be behind Oklahoma and maybe A&M. SEC is just a tough a** conference. At the top end its tough, but after the first couple of teams things get pretty even nationally. Living in GA I get sick of it sometimes, next week should be interesting to listen to the attitude of Dawg fans

I'd say so, but they still got a quarter to pull off a huge victory as UGA just scored... If Boise goes on to win this one I'm not sure the odds are in Richt's favor to return next season.
