Eric the Red
Suspended NU player Incognito leaves school LINCOLN - Nebraska center Richie Incognito has left Nebraska and has contacted a Pac-10 school about transferring. Richie Incognito watched from the sidelines during the game against Western Illinois on Sept. 4. Nebraska Coach Bill Callahan, approached after his weekly press conference Tuesday, said the All-Big 12 lineman has been granted permission to look into transferring. A person close to the situation said that Incognito has contacted Oregon, which operates on a quarter system and doesn't start classes until next week. The Nebraska registrar's office confirmed Tuesday that Incognito had left school. Quote Link to comment

Eric the Red
What do you think there going to do with him. Set up a set of rules for him. Kinda of like Bobby KNight at Texas Tech? Quote Link to comment
chucker21
I really wish he could have acted like a man and sucked it up Quote Link to comment
AR Husker Fan
Whether this is good or bad for Incognito, it's a blessing to NU. This guy has become a cancer on the team. He's a top talent upon whom NU was depending, and he goes and gets himself suspended just before the season starts? So long, good riddance, and don't let the screen door slam you on the arse on the way out... Quote Link to comment
chucker21
one other thing does he lose a year? Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt
What a jackoff. Later loser. Typical 'cog family reaction - dont deal with a problem just act like it was someone elses fault and ignore it. Hmm... wonder why he's such a hothead today?? And yes I believe he will be required to SIT a year, but shouldnt lose any time - after all Im sure he just wants one more yr of college to get his name back out there for the NFL. Then he's out like LP. At least "Nebraska" wont be as closely tied to his crim record like it was to LP. Thanks Oregon!!! Quote Link to comment

Nebraskas name got dragged through the mud and back again because of LP. Glad to see Coach Call has no prob making the tough decsions when he has to. Quote Link to comment

Redout
A little update about Incognito I read in the OWH.. Incognito, by the way, likely is headed to Oregon, according to conversations heard Saturday. Oregon officials declined to comment because the junior is a recruitable athlete, other than to say "he has not been admitted as of now." A transfer is possible because Oregon doesn't start fall classes until a week from Monday. At least he won't be playing NU Quote Link to comment
