They say metro sports in Kansas City has no idea what there talking about. AR Husker Fan Posted October 15, 2004 Share Posted October 15, 2004 All indications - at least those in print - indicate a personal problem, not a football-related problem. Could be Callahan might be worried that if he approaches him first, it will look like "pressure", and cause the kid more problems than it would solve. Manute Posted October 19, 2004 Share Posted October 19, 2004 i agree with benard....this is a real loss to lose this guy. remember, he was ranked EIGHTH best inside linebacker coming out of high school so don't think that getting rid of him is the best thing that can happen to free up a scholarship for one of callahan's AMAZING recruits. it'll be tough to get a linebacker that highly touted. however, given the situation with the possible rift between him and bill, then it will be better to have that scholarship to use elsewhere. but don't think its a good thing to lose a talented kid on what sounds like communcation problems.
