Eric the Red
Player: Barry Turner Hometown: Nashville, TN Position: DE Height: 6’3” Weight: 230 40 time: 4.6 Visit Date: 10/15/04 Scholarships offered: Over 40 including: Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Miami (Fl), Nebraska, South Carolina, Tennessee Favorites: Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Miami (Fl), Nebraska, South Carolina, Tennessee Rankings/Stars: Rivals: #9/*** Insiders: #32/*** Assessing the talent: There’s not really much to say when you have 40 offers on the table. He’s really good. The speed is the first thing that stands out and on his frame that causes domination. Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 98% We are very lucky to get a visit. Turner is in no hurry to accept any offer to go to school. He is going to wait and take his time. He took over three months to decide but he's a Husker... Quote Link to comment

Eric the Red
Said he loved it and all that other good stuff. One thing the recruits keep saying is they are very surprised and love the fact that the crowd recognizes them. He gave it a 12 (scale 1-10????) No commitment. He will take some more visits though. Eric the Red
Still has Nebraska number 1, basically because it's his only visit. But it "still fresh" in his mind after a few weeks. Coach John Blake talks to him once a week. Quote Link to comment

kramer
Here's acool quote from Husker Illustarted "I’m a Cornhusker baby." That’s what Brentwood Academy’s Barry Turner had to say to Big Red Report this morning. After a long recruiting process, Turner follows fellow Tennessee natives like Josh and Daniel Bullocks, exiting the Volunteer state for the land of Scarlet and Cream. Quote Link to comment
