Two reasons to start with: newby QB, and you ain’t got Jon Cornish totin the rock this year. KU defense might help you win a couple more than last year. The Jaycocks might even make it to a bowl game. For a change.

For a change??? KU has made it to bowl games in 2003 and 2005. And I love the Jon Cornish excuse. News Flash: THERE IS A REASON CORNISH WASN'T DRAFTED??? HE WAS A SYSTEM BACK THAT WAS GOOD AT RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH.

Here is a name to remember: Jake Sharp. He will have 100 rushing yards against your skers. Write it down. No way you leave Lawrence with the W.

I have to agree with Drowning and BRI, you sound like you're going over to the dark side. Sorry buddy.

Besides, this "With players like Talib, McClinton and Collins..." is a logical fallacy. If you had players "like" these then they would all be pre season all Big 12. But you don't. You just have these three. Like BRI says, you have to play with eleven guys. So, NU has two players of equal ability. Add Keller as 1/2 then the reality is 3 pre-season big 12 picks vs. 2 1/2. Not exactly an :woo eye popping advantage. Another assumption, you make is that the KU's players that didn't make the list must be better than NU's who didn't make the list. Remember you have to have 11 to play. Where does that assessment come from, out of you a@@? Maybe (I don't know) if you saw the voting data, you would see 3 additional Huskers almost made the team, or vice versa.

Not to offend my Husker buddies, but I could make a valid argument comparing USC pre season picks to NU's, but you have no ammunition on this subject. Back out gracefully while you can. Pull for your team but phuleese don't use these lame arguments. :woo
