eagskerfan
Can anyone tell me what the name of the song is that the huskers do their slow stretches to in pregame warmups? Quote Link to comment
oviedol55
I believe you're thinking of "In the air tonight" by Phil Collins. Classic pre-game warmups music for any football team. Quote Link to comment
eagskerfan
Hey, thanks! That's the exact song I was looking for. Quote Link to comment
HuskerinVA
In addition to Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight," they play Kanye West's "Stronger," but there's another rap song they play that's ungodly difficult to identify because of the amount of bass. I'm hoping someone here maybe knows it or sits in an area of the stadium that isn't like sitting on a subwoofer Thanks for any help I can get!!! Quote Link to comment
Landlord
The version of "In the Air Tonight" that they play isn't by Phil Collins. It's a cover by Nonpoint. Quote Link to comment
HuskerinVA
The version of "In the Air Tonight" that they play isn't by Phil Collins. It's a cover by Nonpoint. Uh, no, it's Phil Collins' version. Big distinction between the two. Nonpoint's version was used in the Miami Vice soundtrack and is styled much differently. Thanks for playing, though!!! Now, can anyone answer my original question that really had little to do with Phil Collins' song? Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
The only other song like that I could think of would be Remember the Name - Fort Minor. They used that for defensive introductions last year. o5YJfPBqPNE Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
A couple other songs I can think of that were used as warm ups this past season are Youngbloodz- Im'ma Shine Young Buck- Get Buck (I think this is the one with the bass someone else was talking about) AFI- Prelude 12/21 TI- What You Know Quote Link to comment

I know that the Basketball warm-ups include the Nonpoint cover, so I assumed that they played the same one for football. Completely my mistake. Quote Link to comment
