1983 Huskers

I still have the Time magazine from December 1983 with Mike Rozier on the cover. Time ran an excellent article on the team, especially Rozier, Fryar, Gill, and Osborne.

 

I went to time.com and found the article in their archives, thinking some of you might enjoy it. It's a long article, but brings up a lot of fun memories, if you're old enough to remember. Wow, it does seem like a long time ago.

Sounds like a good memory. I however, was still wearing diapers and my memories consist of learning to poop on my own.

 

I would like to look back on another team besides the 90's teams. They were great, but I was still young. I may be in the minority here, but I was barely a teenager when the 94 team accomplished the impossible.

thanks for this post. i remember this time article as well (i was in 8th grade) and absolutely love the quote by one of the great american writers (and native daughter), willa cather. if only that team had the defense of the 1984 team. the orange bowl would not have been close!

I was three!!!!! I can't say I remember anything!!!! However I still loved the story...........
