DCHusker Posted October 4, 2007 Share Posted October 4, 2007 My take on this is that he would be brought in on 3rd and mid to long yardage where we shift to a 3-4 base. Instead of adding a fifth DB. He would either blitz from the edges or spy the QB. Could be a good way to improve our pass rush on 3rd down and contain the QB, we've definately had a lot of problems there (Nate Davis). Great point and also he would have enough speed to cover someone coming out of the backfield for short passes. Quote Link to comment
