this is our nightmare--how long til the psyche of the players on this team is healed?

the freshman now will remember this when they are 5th year seniors. is it motivating or crushing?

will they ever recover? or will it take years for this kind of embarrassing cataclysmic era to wear off?

I can be over it by next year if we have a decent team that plays hard

Winning breeds winning.

It will take a coaching staff that teaches proper fundamentals and practices the team the way they need to be practiced. More 1's versus 1's scrimmaging, many more contact drills.

As everyone loves to point out, "these are just kids" :sarcasm A couple of good wins in the right system and they will have not only put it behind them, but it will motivate them.

Well, seeing as how we're dealing with a bunch of fragile millenials, I think it'll probably take extensive group therapy.
