Redbolt
I remember when they took such pride in the number of pancake blocks they had each game. You never hear about pancake blocks anymore. Do we keep track of the number of individual pancake blocks anymore or is it something that has lost importance? How is the blocking used in the WCO offense different from the blocking used at NU when we use to run the ball more.? It seems like we have a lot of difficulty with any type of running game, is this because of the type of blocking we are using? Or is it the type of offense? Quote Link to comment

huskernumerouno
The old PANCAKE block, what a concept. How much damage can a D lineman do when he is on the ground. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
I know they have eight-man in Nebraska and Iowa (played it there), but up here in Minnesota, they indeed do have 9 man football. That's because it's Minnesota...you need the extra guy for when your DB gets lost in the snow or carried off by giant mosquitos. One thing we can all agree on is that Minnesotans are fun to tease. Minnesota -- the only state in the union that would rather be a province of Canada. ...T_O_B Quote Link to comment
