Word from a former player is that Dr. Tom wants Bo for his HC. Turner is being asked to come in as assistant AD to be groomed to take over when Tom is done with his temporary job (which he really doesn't want to drag out - Nancy doesn't want him consumed with NU again, so when he said this was temporary it really was).

 

This fits into why Pearlman went with Osborne - not to interview coaches, but to interview Turner for the AD position.

 

Bo wants to come here and if (there is no offer yet) he is offered, he will come. Osborne still wants to talk to a couple of coaches, but someone will likely have to blow him out of the water. If Bo is the man, expect an announcement that a decision has been reached, but don't be surprised if the coach isn't named until Sunday (which makes no sense - everyone will know its Bo except maybe Miles).

No chance this happens. Why would Turner Gill even entertain something like this. He is a football coach and has many years of coaching left in him. He doesnt wanna come back to Nebraska that bad. He'd only come here if he was gonna be coach.
