I'll have to agree with one of the posts above when discussing Wannstedt. He took a Bears team that wasn't too bad and destroyed them. They still haven't recovered from the hangover Wannstedt left them with. The same could be said with the Dolphins. They were a decent team when he took over, but it didn't take him long to work his magic on them. He's a terrible coach, and he always will be. If I were a really good high school athlete and he came calling on me to play for him at Pitt, I would laugh in his face.

 

IMO, I'd rather give an unproven coach a chance before hiring a loser like Wannstedt. He's just awful!
