Was named the West Virginia Player of the Year. Was selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American game. Rated the #1 Offenisve guard in the country according to scout.com and is the #4 guard according to rivals.com. Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 5% Josh Jenkins is a long-shot. But, with Rich Rodriguez heading to Michigan his committment to West Virginia could change. His older brother Paul Johnson is a senior lineman for Ohio and seems to have a good relationship with Carl Pelini.
