DJR313 Posted December 28, 2004 Share Posted December 28, 2004 During the half time of the Motor City Bowl(seen on ESPN), Trev Albert has once again questioned the integrity of the coach that got the ball rolling with the Huskers coaching search fiasco of last season. Trev stated that Nutt made it public that he wasn't interested in the LSU job. Trev questioned whether or not LSU even wants him and Nutt and his agent are just trying to sweeten his pot to stay in Arkansas. Trev mentioned that the AD's need to communicate with each other to see if the rumors flying around have any substance or it is being fabricated by the coaches agent and PR personnel. The word "collusion" came up, and that is a very ugly word to be thrown around. Just looks fishy that this boner is in the middle of a high profile coaching search in consecutive years, but stays at a mid level SEC team like Arkansas. Awfully suspicious. Quote Link to comment

He turned down Notre Dame to stay at Louisville but will go to LSU. There is something wrong with coaches being able to back out of contracts. Quote Link to comment
