If the ESPN staff votes two of Nebraska's teams in their all-time Top 3, how can you possibly claim ESPN doesn't respect Nebraska? As for Fowler, Herbstreit and Corso, they are merely guilty of expressing the same doubts and speculation as well-informed Husker fans on websites like this and typically give Nebraska all the respect we deserve. melscott62 Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 I dont see how they could be "overrated" IF you split the championship chances are there was a decent sized group of people that didnt think you were that great anyway. if anything they were underrated. I'm not going to get into the whole ESPN vs NU thing, but it is a stupid thing to say. I really dont see how one could even defend it. I think this is a classic example of a journalist trying stir the pot up a little in the middle of the off-season....and it looks like it worked Quote Link to comment
