Eric the Red
Son's theatrics leave mom in tears Apparently this kid never told his mom where he was goingto school before he let everyone know. SHe cried her eyes out right at the selection time Quote Link to comment
Lucky3000
Yeah, it was surprising because I fully expected him to sign with Miami. I get that he just decided to go with FSU, but why would he tell his mother that it was going to be Miami, only to go with the Noles? That is pretty heartless. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Thats pretty cold not to tell your own mother before hand. Quote Link to comment
Benard
Doesn't suprise me. Anymore recruiting is like a big soap opera. Quote Link to comment
bigredtoad
What a load of BS. All for the hype and theatrics. Mom shouldnt be surprised she probly raised him to be a loser. Quote Link to comment
roadrat
Putting these high school kids on a pedestal is stupid when they do not have the maturity to handle a simple situation. We label them 5 star talents when a lot of them are just punks. His mom should've kicked his ass. Quote Link to comment
hoyamannn
His mom should've kicked his ass. Where was his dad to kick his ass? What a worthless piece of crap. I hope he gets kicked off the team or is 3rd string his entire career. Quote Link to comment

oviedol55
Ya'll don't know the whole story so I wouldn't go to jumping to any conclusions. Not all mother's are loveable and support you no matter what. She could've pressured him like hell to go to Miami, even told him that's where he would be going. I'm not saying it was right, it wasn't, but we never know the whole story, so I wouldn't go labelling him anything horrible yet. Quote Link to comment
