BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Correct me if I'm wrong but, Cooper will be able to go back to the MLB after he graduates right? If so, how would that work? Would he be "drafted" and go through that process again?? yup...a player can be drafted 4 or 5 times. In theory a player can be drafted 5 times. Once out of high school. If he goes the JUCO route he can be drafted his last year there. Then when he goes to a four year school he can be drafted during his junior and senior years. Then there was the example of the Royals Hochevar who balked at his draft position and went and played ball in an independant league and re-entered the draft the following year. That would be five possibilites to be drafted. Quote Link to comment
