motorboatjonesNU
This bye week reminds me of the week both USC and NU had before playing, and it doesn't bode well for VT. VT's schedule looks like the one we had in 2007 before USC in that: They actually have a game - and we're off (USC shuffled their schedule around to have an off week before playing us - in both '06 and '07) VT is on the road, playing against a quality team, much like we were vs. Wake. Honestly, although I'd like to see VT beat NC, I don't think they will. This will put a strain on VT coming into Lincoln. Quote Link to comment
papersun87
We're gonna beat those Hokies. Quote Link to comment
Huskerballz
I hope so, because losing that game would severely upset me. Quote Link to comment
motorboatjonesNU
I think so too, although I was surprised by VT's resiliency - and surprised by NC's defense disappearing. Had the NC starting QB not gotten knocked out of the game, I don't think VT would have won. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
A lot of crap went wrong for NC there at the end. Their second string QB made some awful decisions and they gave the game away. Tech lost the game but came away with a W. Nothing they did affected the outcome. NC has no one to blame but themselves. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
The difference, of course, is the talent margin between NU and VT is nothing like that between NU and USC in '06 and '07. Quote Link to comment
