I will say this again, and catch hell I am sure.

 

Bo has been a loser and it was here before. Every time he faced talent he lost the game. Nothing unusal about that. He did not walk on water when he was here before. He won the ones he was supposed to and lost the ones he had no chance of winning. He is not a god, he is a man doing the best he can. He had better talent before and did not have so many problems. We had just started our fall.

 

This is going to take a lot of time. It may never happen. Recruiting is the key, if he gets what he needs and we give him time it will work, if we act like we are right not it will never work and Nebraska will never return. It takes patience and that is not being displayed at this time.

 

Bo is a good coach, not a miracle worker. The recruiting done by BC was high in numbers but not in talent/ and I say character. Most of the ones that were supposed to be great left shortly after arrival. One should have as far as I am concerned. These kids need time to develop the ethics that Bo preaches. He sees it in them as he speaks about character on a daily basis. If he sees it they will get better in my mind. But we as fans have to step and support this team. We have to go to the games and support them no matter how bitter the pill is.

 

Last night was a tough game to stomach, but I am sure it was every bit as hard for Bo and the kids. And I am sure it hurt when they looked into the stands and saw their fans leaving early. I am sure they have that sickening feeling that the boo birds are not far behind. That just can not happen guys. It just can not!!!!

 

In honesty we are about where I thought we were, but the kids did not quit. That makes all the difference in the world. That will get us through this. But we can not quit on them for any reason. WE have to go and keep the stadium sold out, wear red and do the things we can to keep some of the tradition alive. Control what we can, please.

 

This is only going to get worse with what we have to face yet this year. But I still feel we will get the six wins we need to get to a bowl game. That is important, very important for the kids to see improvement and the fans. This is our road, we have to take it and make it work. Keep the faith guys, the team needs you to, trust me.
