"bye week against Nebraska"

The reason for the hatefest on NU is because America loves a tragic collapse, failure, embarrassing downfall of a cultural icon. In college football recently that was us. While we were reaping the spoils of victory after victory, the angry sharks began swimming in the rest of the nations heads. It becomes too much and then BOOM, we start sucking up the joint and everyone wants to pile on. Hence the reason 14 months of relevance has led to mass swarming of JayHawk and Tiger types making their presence felt everywhere.

You're absolutely right! Media bangs on us so hard because we went from about as high as any college football program has ever been to about as low as any program can get within 10 years. It's natural for people to hate whoever is on top and they can't wait to pile on when you hit the ground!

So should the media praise the mighty cornhuskers????? Praise them for their sound defense and players???

Or talk about that explosive offense and that experienced O-line that reminds everyone of the pipeline days???

I mean what love and respect do we deserve from the media???

Let's face it, NU is a homecoming, bye week team

I've heard plenty of relatively bad comments about Florida St. and Miami over the last few years from the media. Not this year...however neither Florida St. or Miami are playing as bad as we are, now are they? And ND took plenty of heat in the media for sucking last year.

The world is NOT out to get you, Husker fans.
