Eric the Red
Bill Callahan is the next on the Budweiser hot seat. LJS reports Pelini and Gill to get there interviews on Wednesday. This most likely means new coach by the end of the week. http://www.journalstar.com/corn.php?story_id=112085 Quote Link to comment
brotherofalatehusker
I'm not holding my breath. This thing's so screwed up that I wouldn't blame anyone for turning it down.... In fact at this point I have to wonder about the person who DOES take it, if you know what I mean. Quote Link to comment
LSUNizz
Man if I were you guys I would be rather ticked at Peterson. If in fact we lose Saban and Skip Bertman handles the hiring of a new coach like this, LSU legend or not he would be burned at the stake by the vocal LSU alumni. Is there any talk in Nebraska about the stabilty of Peterson's job?? Quote Link to comment

Usually the people who complain the loudest are the ones who know the least. Quote Link to comment

Blackshirt
Yes but dont underestimate the power of public opinion, where court will be held for SP over the next 2 years. The new coach will be a direct reflection on steve, and determine his future as savior or satan. Quote Link to comment

I agree, but the chancellor doesn't need the public to explain to him that he is doing a bad job if the proof is in the pudding. Quote Link to comment
TheKiD
hallelujah.. love that line. "Usually the people who complain the loudest are the ones who know the least." No doubt.. let the guy do his job, he's got it under control. And if not.. well, he'll be gone in a couple years.. oh well. Quote Link to comment
