Ledbetter, Chamberlain Lead No. 10 Huskers to 2-1 Win College Station, Texas – Curtis Ledbetter went 3-for-4 with two homers, while Joba Chamberlain fired a complete-game four-hitter, leading No. 10 Nebraska to a 2-1 victory over Texas A&M in front of a crowd of 6,812 at Olsen Field Friday evening. Eric the Red Posted April 17, 2005 Author Share Posted April 17, 2005 Huskers Fall in 10 Innings College Station, Texas --John Infante’s RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning broke a 4-all tie, as Texas A&M evened the weekend series with No. 10 Nebraska with a 5-4 victory Saturday afternoon. The Aggies (23-15-1, 5-9 Big 12) trailed 4-3 heading into the bottom of the ninth, but plated the tying run with two outs before Infante’s double to center off reliever Ryan Bohanan one inning later snapped Texas A&M’s five-game losing streak. Eric the Red Posted April 18, 2005 Author Share Posted April 18, 2005 Huskers Clinch Series Over Aggies College Station, Texas –Daniel Bruce went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Johnny Dorn fired 4.1 shutout innings, as No. 10 Nebraska took the season series against Texas A&M, 6-4, in front of a crowd of 5,754 fans at Olsen Field Sunday afternoon. The senior from Omaha delivered key RBI hits in the second and third innings, as the Huskers jumped to a 5-1 lead and held on to clinch their first-ever series win in four tries in College Station. NU had won only twice in 13 games at Texas A&M before taking 2-of-3 this weekend. Quote Link to comment
