He confessed to having an affair with her sister/mother/brother/aunt/uncle/grandmama(so European).

She consequently murdered him(the bastard). The shame/humiliation was too much to bear.

The car crashed(Peugeot). Not a great loss(its french).

She died in the crash with the murder weapon in her cold dead hand. They had to pry it out of her hand :P deja vu

Euthanasia? Come to think about it, it could have been considered euthanasia, he would have died anyway, but that's not why she killed him, she had a reason for murdering him.

Hint: She did not kill him to take him out of his misery or to be compassionate. :thumbs

Didn't look to see if this had been guessed, but anyways...

The woman crashed the car which didn't kill the man. She took a knife and stabbed the man. She didn't leave the car or drop the knife when the police arrived. The police saw she had a knife and warned her to drop the knife or they would have to shoot in self-defense. She didn't drop the knife and was ultimately gunned down by the police.

THE END
