THE RECRUITING GUY By Richard Davenport Friday, August 21, 2009 HALL'S RIVERS OFFERED Junior swingman David Rivers of Little Rock Hall recently picked up his first offer from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Rivers, who plays summer basketball for the Arkansas Wings, has been getting a long look from Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas and Kentucky. Schools like Iowa State, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma have started to show interest in the rising junior. Rivers, 6-7, 170 pounds, averaged about 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists for the Warriors last season. Quote Link to comment
