tmfr15
Before the game, I posted a prediction of 42-14 or 42-17 in favor of the Huskers. I was confident in our defense, our special teams, and our offense. The defense and special teams played just as I hoped. The offense moved the ball between the 20s well and had six chances to score. They came away with 15 points. Efficiency in the red zone killed my prediction. If we would have just scored one TD, we would have taken the game. Had we been perfect in the red zone, well, my prediction of 42-17 would have been DEAD ON. That doesn't ease the pain, and I certainly hope the scoring issues were just a one-game problem, but I thought I would note that the confidence I had in the team was not totally misplaced. The Tall Texan
You know, your right. Damn score keeper. Of course if the score was not important they would not bother the keep track of it. NU has won many games in its storied past by stealing it at the end (ask CU). Welcome to the real world. Quote Link to comment

Ah yes...the famed "Davison Catch" Thank God for Matt Davison.... I love having that "1997" listed right next to 1995 on the championship wall in the stadium... Oh yeah, and it's nice to have another crystal ball football in the trophy Quote Link to comment
