TheEvilBeak
Offense should be on the run http://www.omaha.com/article/20091009/BIGRED/710099772 This is silly. Last year we couldn't run on them. What makes anyone think this year would be different? Last year, most said throw the damn ball...now run the damn ball. Good thing we didn't run or we wouldn't have had as much clock left, I guess. Bottom line is....we ran when it counted and were able to do so. The Mizz weakness was their Secondary. Do you not want to go after their weak spot? How many times may a run have been called and Lee checked out? Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Good point evil... (about Lee checking out) I still think we should've. Rain was bad, Power I formation was working everytime... Quote Link to comment

I agree with the Power I, however, it was my understanding that Lee's thumb does not allow him to go under center every play. Many factors come in to play here. I'm also not sure Helu was in the proper shape to hammer all night..so to speak. I think Wats had to really pick his spots. Quote Link to comment
shyndy
one of mizzous DE's looks like a WR. lots of their players are small. just line up in a big set and go right at them. It worked the 5-8 times in the game we did it. Quote Link to comment
