Spartness
Did anyone read the article in today's edition? In the last 16 months, Tennessee's football players have had 20 run-ins with the law, even though the coaches have been closely watching the players. Plus, there are all kinds of counseling and programs to prevent players from getting into trouble. So what goes? Is there a flaw in UT's recruiting? Should all schools do background checks? Do you know if NU does a background check? Nameless, here's some research for you to do. Find out the top 25 or 50 schools in the last two years with run-ins with the law. This would be interesting. I did a thread like that on HTW if you remember. South Carolina isn't that far behind. Here is a article on 11 South Carolina players who have been arrested since the end of last season. Nine other Gamecocks players have been arrested on charges ranging from domestic violence to grand larceny Here's a funny article about Steve Spurrier and Phillip Fulmer going back and forth about the incidents at their schools Link Oh that ole ball coach, he always makes the SEC so entertaining Quote Link to comment

Check this out. If you want to read about some full-blown fights, read about the Tennessee players, not our guys. We've not had any knockdown, drag-out fights amongst our players." Eleven Tennessee players have been arrested or cited since February 2004 on various charges, and four players were charged this week with assault stemming from two separate fights on campus. "He needs to take care of his own house and leave mine alone. He's got plenty of issues over there, I'm sure, to deal with," Fulmer said Thursday after practice. "We've had a lot worse things than this that we've gotten through.[/SIZE]" Oh a couple guys fighting, felonies, oh this is nothing !!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Fulmer is the dirtiest coach in ALL of college football. No school has been under the NCAA microscope as much as Tennesse the last 10 years. I swear this guy gets away with so much stuff that other schools would be on probation for Quote Link to comment
