cmb23
So many threads about the offense sucking, the defense being awesome, QB confusion, offensive identity and Watson with his head up his ass (which is the only valid one)..... But do we all realize that right now....we are 9 games into a 12 game regular season?!?! Didn't opening kickoff just happen like 2 weeks ago?!?! So... What is your best thought/memory/thing you'd like to forget at this point? Mine is the hype around Suh. It has brought attention to a very strong tradition that is the Nebraska defense (they called it the Blackshirts at one point, but evidently we don't call it that now though they are top 10 in pretty much every statistic they keep track of.) WHY CAN'T COLLEGE FOOTBALL HAVE THE SAME REGULAR SEASON AS SAY...OH....PGA GOLF OR NASCAR?!?!?! Quote Link to comment
MNBIGRED
Im right there with you, the season come and go too fast and the offseason seems to take FOREVER. My favorite thing about this year is realizing how good of a move to hire Pelini as HC was. Our defense is absolutely amazing, lookout in the next couple years when the offense plays at least half as good as the defense will. Quote Link to comment
cornhuskersftw
I would like to forget the eight fumbles against ISU! But the defense and watching the younger players learn from all the talent and amazing coaching has been quite the experience. And most of this talent will be returning next year!! And of course Suh is a pleasure to watch each week!! Quote Link to comment
mayorlito
Best memory of the season would have to be Rex Burkheads first touchdown. The emotion you felt watching him congratulate his teammates afterward was just what I thought would happen. The thing I would like to forget most are the harsh wards spoken in haste. GBR. cmb23
I would like my next favorite memory to be that game that the Offense rolled and looked like a well-oiled machine. (Coaches and players...can you help us out with that memory...please?!?!) Quote Link to comment
