NoKoolAidForME Posted December 11, 2009 Share Posted December 11, 2009 Two day after the Longhorn won thier controversial conference championship the offical airline sponsor for UT annoucnced a special shuttle for the championship Dec. 7, 2009 AUSTIN, Texas -- JetBlue Airways, UT Athletics' official airline sponsor, today announced the addition of special "Hook 'Em Shuttles" to accommodate the rush of Texas fans seeking nonstop service to the Pasadena area following the announcement that the Texas Longhorns would play in the BCS National Championship game. The value airline already offers one nonstop daily flight to L.A./Long Beach from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. The airline, best known for giving customers more free live entertainment on personal seatback TVs, more comfort with leather seats and spacious legroom, more free snacks and drinks and more friendly customer service, will operate additional nonstop flights between Austin and Long Beach on Wednesday, Jan. 6 and Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010.
