bshirt
It's a hard pill to swallow isn't it? It is a bit of a hard pill to swallow when the schools that run the option have so much success with it, and even Osborne himself has explained why it worked and why it would still work. And I'm fine with us running a spread...as in the spread option. I care much less about the formation we line up in than I do about what we do once the ball is snapped. Option football gives you additional weapons on O, and forces the D to worry about more. You mean like Michigan? 112th in total offense genius. Is that a hard pill to swallow? Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
Yeah, and I am still interested to hear what good defensive teams Nebraska has beaten with the WCO. Quote Link to comment
Jeremy
0-21 vs. Top 18 since Black 41 Flash in '01. We haven't beat ANY good teams, defensive or not, in a LONG time. Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
0-21 vs. Top 18 since Black 41 Flash in '01. We haven't beat ANY good teams, defensive or not, in a LONG time. Is this because the offense has been great and the defense terrible all these years or was it that the offense did nothing against those 21 teams? I will say it once more that the defense was not the whole problem during the Callahan years. Quote Link to comment
