Eric the Red
I have the old Windows XP with Moviemaker on it. Does anyone suggest purchasing Windows 7 and get the updated moviemaker? I do use it from time to time. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
I was unaware Windows 7 had a moviemaker (coming from someone with 7).. Quote Link to comment

Blackshirtsguru
I actually took the plunge into Windows 7 and I am glad I did. It has a lot of different features and it is very user friendly. Quote Link to comment

Definitely wouldn't recommend unless you have a capable box though...there is just so[/] much difference when you can run an operating system quickly Quote Link to comment

HuskerfaninOkieland
I have W7 and downloaded the Movie Maker program that is supposedley for W7. But anytime I upload a video and try to edit it in Movie Maker, it doesn't show. It just plays the sound. In the screen I get a red X. I've figured out it has something to do with a codec. Quicktime will play the video fine, but Media Player says it cannot. Anyone else run into this problem and have a fix for it? Quote Link to comment

Convert it to wmv before importing it and it should work. You can use THIS to convert it. Quote Link to comment
