Spartness
Many people think of the WCO as a passing offense. However, wasn't that a WCO Colorado used in 2001 where they were almost entirely a power-running team? That's the team that tore us apart -- 62-36 -- in Boulder and won the Big 12 championship. I read where Colorado installed the WCO a couple of years earlier. This tells me how flexible this offense can be -- it can fit the strength of the offense. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
The WCO is supposed to be an offense that can use either at any length, I believe. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
Auburn runs a version of the WCO also and they ran the ball all the time last year. Quote Link to comment
BigRedJake
The WCO is a ball-control offense based on short to intermediate passes predicated on timing routes and a consistent short-yardage running game. In other words, balance. That's why I love it. Quote Link to comment
