Pasadena Husker
hi all, it might have already been posted somewhere else, but i was always looking for a timeline with some details regarding this whole big 10 expansion process. the following link form the OWH gives some of the dates and details. does anyone know of other articles that layout the who, where, when of the events that lead to yesterdays big day? thanks. http://www.omaha.com/article/20100611/SPORTS/306119924#huskers-big-ten-move-official Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
If it doesn't layout the timeline for how Perlman and Osborne grew long mustaches, donned black clothes, practiced their evil laughs, and secretly plotted the downfall of the Big XII, it's obviously not accurate. Quote Link to comment

huKSer
I've been thinking of this: During the meetings, it was confirmed that six Big 12 schools had been approached to join the Pac-10. Perlman said officials with those schools said that if Nebraska stayed with the Big 12, they would stay with the league, too. They issued an ultimatum for all conference members to affirm their commitment to the Big 12, or they would take up the Pac-10 offer. Reports were that Nebraska and Missouri were the schools that had an ultimatum after the conference meetings. If they were the only two schools that did not sign the pledge, then that means that Colorado did sign the pledge. Less than a week later - zip, they were gone. Has Missouri signed the pledge? Aldan said yesterday that Missouri was "100% behind the Big 12" Quote Link to comment
