Big Ten Stadium Capacities

Actually, Michigan will be just as high. Even though Penn State had the larger stadium for the last year or so, Michigan still had a higher average attendance. Highest in the nation for many years running

I'd be interested to know how they got the square footage, is it just the seating area, or does it include concourse area, concessions, restrooms, ect...

Google earth and too much time on my hands. I includes seating PLUS the field and sidelines.

:corndance It is time for Nebraska to prove it is one of the elite, by bringing the seating in Memorial Stadium to a level that puts it in the top 10 of the NCAA, and then continuing the sellout streak. There is no reason that the east side of the stadium could not be expanded in a large way, and/or the south end zone couldn't take on more seating.

I know that the Big10 was second in most attendance, even with one fewer team than both the Big12 and SEC. I'm not sure if we'll pass the SEC or not, guess I could check real quick.

Edit: nope, we'll still be around 85k behind them. SEC: 937,711 Big10: 852,957
