Manhattan
So word is quickly spreading about a special seasoning to put on all of your food that will make everything a billion times better than you could possibly imagined. I tried some of this concoction last night, and now, like everyone who has had it, I am obsessed. It has turned the otherwise culinary inept and un-inclined into rabid spice mixers. People have replaced every single spice in their cabinet to make room for this mixture that you can put on everything - and tastes better on everything than anything else - and the remaining room is used for the ingredients to make more "dust". Without further ado: 1/2 cup paprika1/4 cup kosher salt, finely ground 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons mustard powder 1/4 cup chili powder 1/4 cup ground cumin 2 tablespoons ground black pepper 1/4 cup granulated garlic 2 tablespoons cayenne Go and make yourselves this recipe. Your world will be turned upside down. It goes great on everything, but everyone seems to think that it is the messiah for Mac n' Cheese, Chicken, and Pork. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Replace every single spice in your cabinet? Come now. This may be a good recipe, but it's never going to replace everything. Some quick googling shows that this is a BBQ rub recipe created by Mike Mills for his book Peace, Love, and Barbecue. Quote Link to comment
General Blackshirt
Yeah, I don't think this is going to be changing many lives. Quote Link to comment

rawhide
It'd only be a miracle spice if I could eat liver with just that on it. I literally puke if I even smell liver cooking. I'll try the mixture but not on liver. GBR Quote Link to comment
