Brian Duensing Getting a Start

Recommended Posts

The Twins have moved struggling right-hander Nick Blackburn into the bullpen, and left-hander Brian Duensing will take his place in the rotation. Acting manager Scott Ullger made the announcement before Wednesday afternoon's game. Duensing has a 1.67 ERA in 43 innings, all in relief. He made nine starts last season and proved viable in deeper leagues down the stretch as a starter.

Good to see more Huskers getting PT in the majors. :thumbs

As he should of been all year... Funny, I'm a huge sox fan, and even I can see that Duensing needed to be in the rotation instead of blackburn from the get go.. I was talkin with some huge twinkies fans back in mid-april and they said the same thing, Blackburn never deserved to be in the rotation and it should of been Duensing from day one.. He's been useful all year.
